Boardgame Tavern started in a café in Ho Chi Minh City after the fourth time someone asked, in a group chat, "anyone know where I can play Brass: Birmingham this weekend?"

We talked to store owners drowning in 500-game libraries managed in spreadsheets. We talked to players who couldn't tell which café had what, when. The pattern was clear: a thriving community held together by goodwill and Facebook posts.

We're building the platform that gives stores the tools they deserve and players the discovery they expect — starting with Vietnam, designed so it'd work in Berlin or Brooklyn too.
